DELTA WINTER OF CODE
What is DWoC?
Delta Winter of Code(DWoC) is an open source initiative by Delta Force, the official coding club of NIT Trichy. Since 2018, DWoC has been connecting developers with open source organisations and serving as a platform to further the open source community. During the 12 week program, developers will be exposed to various real world problems and effective means to solve them while also giving them a headstart for other Open Source Projects like Google Summer of Code, Outreachy and Linux Foundation Mentorship Program to name a few.

I have always wanted to contribute and be part of the open source community, but was never able to do so. DWOC gave me the this opportunity. I got to learn a lot from my mentor, Akarsh, and he was always available to clear my doubts or to give feedback to any of my ideas. It was a great experience and perfect opportunity for anyone who wants to enter the open source world.
